Nick Whiting

Nick has been a full time trainer and consultant for the last 12 years.
He spent 10 years managing in the Horticultural sector where he developed his business, management, marketing and sales skills, and then progressed into his first training role with a National Industrial Training Board where he developed his consultancy, facilitation, design, delivery and coaching skills. He has also been Director of Training, Development & Quality in a $2 billion company in the USA where he instigated company-wide manager development, train the trainer and SPC based quality programmes.


His Professional Qualifications include

· Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
· Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing British Psychological Society (Levels A & B)
· Certified to use MBTI, 16PF and Firo B psychometric tools
· Accredited to use Emotional Competency Inventory
· ILM Approved Trainer – up to Level 6 Award in Management

Recent experience includes:
· Managed a £1 million cultural change project for international logistics company, working with all levels of management from CEO down to shopfloor. This project won a National Training Award in partnership with the company. This also included Coaching & Mentoring skills programmes for a Senior Managers involved in a Talent Partner Scheme
· Designed and delivered project to train all practical and technical skills trainers and help design delivery materials for a FTSE 250 industrial cleaning company. He also designed and delivered a customer management, and performance management workshops.
· Delivered business planning and selling skills workshops to the staff of a Top 10 national insurance company. Also observed, audited and coached their in-house trainers.
· Designed and delivered a Performance Management Workshop for support Staff Managers at a large local authority Comprehensive school.

Simon Girdler

Simon has been involved in training and development for about 18 years in capacities such as managing, designing, delivering and consultancy and in a wide variety of sectors. His background was in the financial services industry, gaining experience in a variety of management roles for a large blue chip financial services company.
He is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.


Professional Experience
In his role as a training and development consultant Simon has worked with a number of high profile companies, such as Barclays, HBOS, RBS, Citroen, Vodafone, BAE Systems, Learning Skills Council, Police Mutual and Alfred McAlpine Business Services. He has even had the benefit of working with members of the Faculty for Executive Development from Harvard Business School.

Simon is innovative and resourceful with a proven track record of turning objectives into measurable results. He has an engaging style and builds a strong sense of connectivity with audiences. He favours a participative and consultative training style, which will give the delegates the opportunity to develop through exercises, discussions and other activities. Guy Pinfold

Guy has a proven track record in consistently delivering high standard, results driven, communication, influencing and negotiation skills training. Guy held field sales, man management, key account management and marketing roles within Coca-Cola Enterprises and was head of Sales Force Effectiveness for Bristol Myers Squibb pharmaceuticals.

Ralph Nelson Tucker

Ralph is dedicated to improving personal performance in a corporate environment. A training and development professional, with employed experience in large and small companies and self-employed experience with major organisations and SMEs, he is commercially-focused, a communicator, motivator, leader and developer of people.

Will Lakeman

Will is a proven development consultant and trainer.

He specialises in communication and influence and continues to create lasting change in some of the world’s most successful organisations. He also continues to pinch himself that he makes a respectable living out of something he enjoys so much.

Formally UK Head of Training in two global pharmaceutical companies, for the last decade Will has consistently delivered in over 50 leading organisations across a dozen industries in a dozen countries. From BBC Directors to International Research Scientists, from High Street Fashion Designers to Sales Professionals, from European Marketing Managers to Boiler Engineers (not to mention Equine Lawyers, Oncology Nurses and IT Specialists) - clients tell him they like him for his adaptability, his willingness to challenge and his passion for giving them their money’s worth. Will lives with his wife and two kids five minutes from the beach in Poole, Dorset.
